About Brooke

Brooke Smith serves as the Executive Director of The Advocacy Center (“TAC”) and works out of TAC’s Tennessee office. With prior nonprofit board experience, she is an avid non-profit advocate whose heart’s desire is to equip and encourage others to stand in the gap for those without a voice.

Although she currently resides in Chattanooga, Brooke was born and raised in North Georgia where her love of music was cultivated. At the age of four, she began taking piano lessons, later learning to play the flute and saxophone. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she studied flute performance not thinking that she would ever have a "desk job." However, several years later she found herself working at a law firm and fell in love with the law. With 19 years’ experience as a paralegal, Brooke is also the Firm Administrator for Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC where she manages the law firm’s day-to-day operations while providing legal support to its attorneys as needed.

During her personal time, Brooke attends Briarwood School of Supernatural Ministry, teaches flute lessons and also performs with Flute Night Out, a local flute choir that promotes a lifetime enjoyment of music.
